Sometimes, you just have to file an information request for the documents that are required by law for the thing that is "wrong". Then it either shows that the law was not followed (doc as evidence) or not (no doc available hence violating the law or stonewalling as admission of violating the law).

the cases I've focused on are the ones where they have violated constitutional mandates, like brazenly, and the facts have them dead to rights. What I'm trying to do is just get the court to acknowledge it. Because that would be something we could build on the next time they come for our rights. If we never plant a flag and demand the courts say that they're wrong, it just festers, and the violations become broader. So the problem with my cases, is not a lack of information, but a court that is willing to acknowledge wrongdoing.

The problem with FOIA requests is that a corrupt administration just ignores them or fires the cooperators.
